Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Head of the European Alliance parliamentary group Boris Mugosa called on the Government and the Ministry of Finance to inform the public about the current reduction in fuel excise duties as of Monday evening.

“Is it true that you have completely abolished the reduction of excise duties on diesel and drastically reduced the percentage reduction on petrol, which is why citizens are today paying significantly higher fuel prices than they would have if the reductions that were evidently in force until last night had remained in place?” Mugosa asked.

He also questioned why the Government continues to act in such a non-transparent manner.

“You do not wish to inform citizens about the reasons behind your decisions, nor do you clearly state why you have been reducing the percentage of excise-duty reductions from week to week,” Mugosa concluded.
