Ship cargo throughput reaches 1.73 million tons in 2025

Bar, (MINA-BUSINESS) – A total of 1.73 million tons of cargo were handled at the Port of Bar last year, which is six percent less compared to 2024, when ship cargo throughput amounted to 1.84 million tons.
“The business plan for the entire past year projected ship cargo throughput of 1.99 million tons, meaning that 86.89 percent of the planned volume was achieved,” the management report on last year’s operations states.
There was a decline in the throughput of bulk and general cargo, while liquid cargo recorded an increase compared to 2024.
Of the total 1.73 million tons handled, 1.35 million tons were bulk cargo, 307,700 tons liquid cargo, and 74,220 tons general cargo.
