Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – In the first five months of this year, the Games of Chance Administration collected a total of €19.96 million in revenues, up 33.69 percent year on year.

The Games of Chance Administration stated in a press release that the result achieved in May was particularly noteworthy, with revenues reaching €4.38 million, representing an 81.83 percent increase compared with the same month last year and confirming the continuation of positive trends in the sector.

The highest growth was recorded in the online gambling segment, where revenues amounted to €8.7 million, 41.68 percent more compared to the same period last year.

“Revenues from games of chance in slot machine clubs totalled €4,58 million, marking a growth of 56.87 percent, while betting games generated revenues of €4.56 million, up 12.63 percent year on year,” the press release reads.

Revenues from casino games amounted to €2.07 million, up 16.73 percent year on year. 

According to the press release, the results achieved are primarily the outcome of improvements to the regulatory and supervisory framework, as well as more efficient collection of legal obligations.
