Serbian team submits top-ranked concept design for Velje Brdo

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – A concept design by a team from Serbia has been ranked first for Block A1 as part of the first phase of the Velje Brdo residential development.
Acting Chief State Architect Mirjana Djurisic said that the winning design, authored by Dejan Milanovic and Grozdana Sisovic from Serbia, is an innovative project of humane housing, with a distinctive concept and well-integrated traffic solutions.
Speaking at a press conference held by the Ministry of Spatial Planning, Urbanism and State Property, where the top-ranked concept was presented, she added that ecological principles are well integrated at that the project is a well-developed, high-quality solution.
The first-prize design received an award of €100,000. The second prize, worth €65,000, went to Stefan Djordjevic and Dalija Dukanac from the Serbian firm Taktika, while the third prize, valued at €40,000, was awarded to the team Sadar+Vuga from Slovenia and DVARP+C from Montenegro, comprising Jurij Sadar, Bostjan Vuga, Miha Cebulj, and Dijana Vucinic.
The first purchase prize of €10,000 was awarded to the firm Albatross Architecture and Urbanism, represented by Alen Zunic and Petra Vlahek from Croatia, while the second purchase prize, in the same amount, went to the Uzbek company LLC Dizayn Fabrikasi, whose team includes Bahri Saka, Alp Baykan, Hayrettin Akturk, Muhammed Furkan Kaya, Canan Enisoglu, Ivana Stojanovic, and Xurshidbek Yuldashev.
