Podgorica, (MINA) - The Party of European Progress (SEP) has prepared an initiative to dismiss Capital City Assembly Chair Jelena Borovinic Bojovic, said the party’s councilor Ilija Mugosa.

Speaking at the press conference, he said that they decided to take this step because the government in the Capital City is not functioning, Dan daily reports.

Mugosa explained that at the last session of the local parliament, when the opposition participated in the work and had a majority to amend the agenda, it became clear that the government was not functioning.

“I would call on all councilor groups to support the initiative. We are of the opinion that this is healing, both for the opposition and for the government, as well as for Borovinic Bojovic in order to check whether she has the support of those who appointed her as Assembly Chair and whether she enjoys the support of 30 councilors in the parliament”, said Mugosa.

He said that on Monday, he will submit the initiative to be signed by all councilor groups in the Capital City Assembly.
