Podgorica, (MINA) – The State Prosecutor’s Office resolved more than 31,000 cases last year, which, as the Supreme State Prosecutor’s Office (VDT) said, demonstrates the continuous trend of improving work efficiency.

The VDT stated that last year the State Prosecutor’s Office achieved exceptional results, achieving a high level of efficiency, organizational capacity and readiness to respond to the increased workload in all areas of its jurisdiction.

“Last year, the State Prosecutor’s Office resolved 144.44 percent of the cases received in that year, which means that 9,634 more cases were resolved than received”, the press release said.

The VDT added that, in addition to the received cases, a number of backlogged cases from earlier years were also resolved, contributing to a reduction in the overall number of cases and a significant improvement in work efficiency.

The State Prosecutor’s Office, as stated, resolved almost all cases that arrived during the last year (98,31 percent), demonstrating a high level of efficiency.
