New round of support for Bar’s craftspeople

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The Municipality of Bar has launched a public call for applications under its Craft Support Programme, allocating €40 thousand from the local budget to help improve the operations of craftspeople in Bar.
“The call is open to all craftspeople, entrepreneurs and companies registered in accordance with the Law on Business Organizations and the Law on Crafts, as well as unemployed persons residing in the Municipality of Bar, who may qualify for financial support of up to €4,000 per applicant,” the local administration stated in a press release.
Approved projects will be financed at no less than 80 percent of the amount requested in the application. Under an affirmative action measure, projects will be financed at 100 percent of eligible costs if the ownership structure of the business includes women and/or persons under the age of 30.
“The awarded funds may be used exclusively to finance eligible costs, including the purchase of equipment and tools for carrying out craft activities, the procurement of raw materials for production, participation in domestic and international fairs and events, as well as other promotional activities such as promotional materials, social media promotion, website development, and the costs of specialized training and education related to the specific craft activity,” the press release reads.
The public call will remain open for 30 days from the date of publication.
