Podgorica, (MINA) – All members of the 10th contingent of the Armed Forces in the Resolute Support mission in Afghanistan are safe and sound, and none of them participated in the incident that took place in Kabul, the Defense Ministry stated.
In a suicide bomber’s attack, that took place in Kabul early on Wednesday, three Croatian soldiers were wounded, one of whom later succumbed to the wounds.
The Defense Ministry expressed deepest condolences to the family of the deceased Croatian soldier.
“This is also huge loss for us who, together with you, far from our homes, are helping in establishing peace and international security”, it was posted at the Ministry’s twitter account.
