Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Representatives of the Insurance Supervision Agency and the National Bureau of Montenegro Insurers (NBMI) have agreed that the Montenegrin insurance market is stable and has great development prospects.
“The importance of a steady voluntary insurance growth rate, as one of the main indicators of the strengthening of the insurance market, was underlined in the context of development,” the Agency says in a press release.
The two institutions discussed their joint activities and further cooperation focusing on the development of legislation and functioning of the insurance market in Montenegro.
Their partnership with the insurance companies, aimed at developing a strategy for this sector, was also discussed at the meeting.
“Representatives of the insurance sector presented the initiatives aimed at enhancing the insurance market, and creating a more favorable business environment in this field,” the press release says.
