Podgorica, (MINA) – There are no reasons whatsoever for calling early parliamentary elections, nor for forming a government of electoral trust, because the existing government enjoys full legitimacy, President Milo Djukanovic has stated.
“I don’t see any reason for holding early parliamentary elections. I don’t see any similarity with 2016. There is no reason to rearrange the government and form a government of electoral trust. This government has legitimacy,” Djukanovic said in an interview with the national public broadcaster RTCG.
He stressed that the Montenegrin political system and the government operate regularly and that the next regular parliamentary elections will take place in 2020.
