Podgorica, (MINA) – President of Montenegro Milo Djukanovic thanked on Monday to High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini for continuous dedication to the European perspective of the Western Balkans’ region.
Djukanovic met with Mogherini in Berlin, where he took part in the meeting on the Western Balkans.
“Mogherini expressed satisfaction for meeting Djukanovic, ahead of the main meeting, considering the President’s knowledge of the subject matter and his rating with the regional partners”, the press release stated.
Djukanovic thanked to Mogherini for continuous dedication to the European perspective of the region and expressed hope that the Berlin meeting can be a good incentive for putting the efforts in keeping the perspective open.
Djukanovic and Mogherini discussed the situation in the region and emphasized the importance of regional cooperation and good neighborly relations.
