Wholesale turnover reaches €4.1 billion last year

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to preliminary statistics released by Monstat, the wholesale turnover in Montenegro amounted to €4.1 billion last year, up 8.2 percent year on year.
The Statistical Office says that the highest share in the total turnover was that of the commodity groups related to food industry, which accounted for 30 percent of the total wholesale turnover.
The wholesale statistics include the turnover of the companies involved in the wholesale trade as their main activity.
The wholesale turnover is the value of goods the companies and organizations involved in the wholesale trade in goods deliver to the retailers, other companies for further processing, and large consumers for their own consumption.
