Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to the Social Justice Action (ASP), nearly €1 million was paid last month from the state treasury for the Bar-Boljare motorway project, of which around €966,000 was redirected to Monteput.

ASP reminded that Monteput is finalizing the tender for selecting the contractor for the motorway section from Matesevo to Andrijevica.

Around ten days ago, Monteput announced that technical bids for the construction of this section, submitted by four companies or consortia, three Chinese and one Turkish-Azerbaijani group, had been opened. 

The estimated value is €550 million, and financial bids will be opened later.

“October payments from the state treasury for the Bar-Boljare motorway project, from the Transport Administration’s budget, are the first payments publicly disclosed this year,” the NGO stated in a press release.
