State leadership and parties extend Easter greetings

 

Podgorica, (MINA) – State officials and political parties extended Easter greetings to dignitaries of the Catholic Church and believers of the Catholic faith in Montenegro.

President of Montenegro Jakov Milatovic said that Easter is an eternal symbol of hope, renewal and triumph of life, which reminds us time and again of the power of faith, love and forgiveness.

“I wish this great holiday brings peace to your hearts, joy to your homes and firm faith in a more beautiful and brighter future. Happy and blessed Easter!” said Milatovic.

Parliament Speaker Andrija Mandic congratulated the clergy and believers of the Roman Catholic Church on Easter, stressing the importance of unity, mutual respect and solidarity in society.

Prime Minister Milojko Spajic said that Easter symbolizes the triumph of kindness and forgiveness and reminds us that great deeds cannot be accomplished without sincere dedication, selflessness, wisdom and courage.

Leader of the Democratic Party of Socialists Danijel Zivkovic, said that Easter reminds us that diversity is the greatest asset of Montenegrn society.

President of the Democratic People’s Party, Milan Knezevic, wished the believers and clergy of the Catholic Church to spend the Easter holidays in spiritual peace, health and happiness.

Leader the Bosniak Party, Ervin Ibrahimovic, extended Easter greetings to all Catholic believers, stating that holidays are a time of spiritual renewal, and a symbol of mutual respect.

The Socialist People’s Party wished members of the Catholic faith to spend the holidays in the circle of family and loved ones, nurturing hope and inner peace.

The European Alliance wished all citizens celebrating Easter a happy and blessed holiday, expressing hope that they spend it in good health, with their loved ones, united around well-being and universal human values.
