Podgorica, (MINA) – M.M. (35) from Cetinje, wanted by Interpol Podgorica, was arrested today in Tivat, the Police Administration announced.

The Police noted that M.M., a member of an organized criminal group from Montenegro, was arrested in a planned operation carried out by of the Department for International Operational Police Cooperation INTERPOL – EUROPOL – SIRENE / Group for Active International Targeted Searches FAST, after several months of coordinated activities with officers of the Podgorica and Tivat security departments.

According to the press release, Interpol Podgorica had issued a red international warrant for M.M., in line with the order issued by the Podgorica High Court, in order to secure his presence in the criminal proceedings for committing the criminal offense of creating a criminal organization, together with four other individuals.
