Podgorica, (MINA) - Supreme State Prosecutor Milorad Markovic, Minister of Internal Affairs Danilo Saranovic and Chief of Police Lazar Scepanovic signed the Protocol on Action and Cooperation aimed at establishing a unified and coordinated public communication platform.

The protocol, as announced by the Supreme State Prosecutor’s Office (VDT), establishes clear principles, procedures and coordination mechanisms for the release of information on the joint work of those institutions in criminal cases.

The goal of the Protocol, it is stated, is to provide the public with access to accurate, verified and timely information, while at the same time safeguard the integrity of investigations and protect the rights of all participants in proceedings.

“In this way, the transparency of the institutional work, legal certainty and public trust in the criminal justice and security system are further strengthened”, the press release says.
