Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The Premium Programme, the most successful card program in Montenegro, has celebrated a milestone of €350 million in turnover and over 70,000 Premium card users.
At the 14th anniversary celebration of the Premium Programme by Hipotekarna Bank, held Tuesday evening in Podgorica, it was announced that collaboration with 900 partners allows users to enjoy discounts and instalment purchases at more than 2,000 locations across the country.
Member of the Management Board of Hipotekarna Bank Nikola Spadijer said the bank is proud to have created a programme over the past 14 years that has become synonymous with quality and innovation in card services.
“Customer interest in obtaining a Premium card continues to grow, confirming that this card brand holds a clear leadership position. Thanks to the bank’s new owners and the support of the AIK Group, as well as a strategic partnership with Mastercard, we are preparing additional benefits for our clients: faster and simpler credit processes, as well as the introduction of a cashback programme,” Spadijer said.
He noted that the new ownership structure brings ambitious plans, and Hipotekarna Bank aims to become a market leader in total assets and credit activity.
Mastercard Director for Serbia, Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina Jelena Sretenovic said that in collaboration with the Premium Programme, they are already working on new benefits and cashback models that will further reward user loyalty.
“We are confident that the success of this programme lies in a shared vision – creating modern, secure, and simple solutions for users. We are proud that we have laid the foundation, together with Hipotekarna Bank and Telekom Crne Gore, for a modern payment system in the country and contributed to the advancement of the local digital economy,” Sretenovic stated.
Head of Product Development at Crnogorski Telekom Tanja Bokan said that the Premium Programme is unique because it brings together the business community to create added value for users.
“The Premium card is a very successful product because it meets the basic principles of a good product – it is simple, secure, relevant, and fully aligned with user needs,” Bokan added.
