Krapovic and McKen: Strong partnership between Montenegro and the UK

Podgorica, (MINA) – Montenegro and the United Kingdom (UK) enjoy a strong and meaningful partnership within NATO, based on shared values, mutual trust and commitment to preserving international peace, stability and security.
This was emphasized during a meeting between Defense Minister Dragan Krapovic and UK Ambassador Dawn McKen, held to mark the end of her diplomatic mandate in Montenegro.
Krapovic thanked McKen for her engagement and exceptional contribution to strengthening the friendly and allied relations between Montenegro and the UK, especially in the field of defense and security.
Krapovic particularly highlighted the UK’s continued support for the process of modernization of the defense system, strengthening of interoperability with allied forces, development of human resources, improvement of military-to-military cooperation, as well as building resilience to contemporary security challenges.
“The interlocutors assessed that the two countries enjoy a strong and substantive partnership within NATO, based on shared values, mutual trust and commitment to preserving international peace, stability and security”, the press release said.
