Podgorica, (MINA) - The Spanish police arrested in Malaga M.K. (47) from Kotor, a high-ranking member of an organized criminal group from Montenegro, for whom the Montenegrin authorities issued a red Interpol warrant.

The Police Administration announced that M.K. has been wanted to attend the criminal proceedings against him on suspicion of creating a criminal organization and committing aggravated murder.

The Montenegrin police stated that continuous targeted measures and actions, thorough planning and intensive exchange of operational and intelligence information with Spanish law enforcement authorities resulted in the arrest of M.K.

“M.K. is considered one of the prominent members of a high-risk criminal group operating in Montenegro”, the press release states.
