Podgorica, (MINA) - The visit of President of the European Commission (EC), Ursula von der Leyen, to Montenegro is taking place at a time of Montenegro’s most intensive reforms within the EU agenda and is an opportunity to witness the country’s determination to successfully complete the negotiations within the set timeframe, said Minister of European Affairs Maida Gorcevic.

Gorcevic wrote on the X social network that they appreciate the visit of Von der Leyen to Montenegro.

“This is a great opportunity to witness firsthand our determination to successfully complete the negotiations within the set timeframe. Day by day, we’re getting closer to our goal: EU membership by 2028”, she wrote.
