Djukovic elected vice-president of ECHR Execution Coordinators Network

Podgorica, (MINA) – Montenegro’s representative before the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR), Mirko Djukovic, has been elected vice-president of the ECHR Execution Coordinators Network (ExCN).
The Government announced that on June 16, a joint thematic event of the ExCN and the European Network of National Human Rights Institutions (ENNHRI) was held in Berlin, dedicated to the execution of ECtHR judgments, attended by Djukovic.
At the meeting, the new ExCN leadership was elected.
“The representative of Romania before the ECtHR, Oana-Florentina Ezer, was elected chair, while the representative of Ukraine, Marharyta Sokorenko and Mirko Djukovic, were elected vice-chairs”, the press release stated.
According to the press release, Djukovic presented the priorities of Montenegro’s chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, emphasizing Montenegro’s commitment to the execution of ECHR judgments and the impact of those judgments on Montenegro’s EU membership path.
