€13 Million in new donations for Montenegro

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Chinese Premier Li Qiang announced that China has approved approximately €13 million in grant funding for Montenegro, to be implemented in a manner agreed upon by the two countries.
During a meeting with Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajic, Li said that China wishes to see a stable and prosperous Montenegro. The meeting marked the highest-level bilateral encounter between the two countries in the past 18 years.
Spajic, who is currently visiting China, is participating in the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum's New Champions, commonly known as the Summer Davos, held in the Chinese city of Dalian.
As part of the celebration of 20 years of diplomatic relations between Montenegro and China, Spajic met with Li in Dalian to discuss bilateral relations, which both sides agreed have significant potential for further development in areas of mutual interest.
The two leaders agreed that relations between Montenegro and China are at a high level and that the Montenegrin prime minister’s visit provides fresh momentum for bilateral cooperation.
According to the officials, successfully completed infrastructure projects are the best confirmation of the quality cooperation between the two countries.
