Plantaze wines win 32 international medals this year

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Wines produced by Plantaze have continued to confirm their quality at some of the world’s most prestigious wine competitions, winning a total of 32 medals this year.

“In the past ten days alone, Plantaye wines won a total of 22 medals at three prestigious international competitions: the Decanter World Wine Awards in London, the Balkans International Wine Competition (BIWC), and the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles (CMB),” the company said in a press release.

This result adds to the ten medals previously won at the renowned Mundus Vini competition in Germany.

“These international competitions bring together some of the world's leading wine experts, Masters of Wine, sommeliers, wine journalists, and judges. Wines are tasted blind, without information about the producer or origin, making the medals won one of the most objective indicators of quality on the global wine scene,” Plantaze said.

A particularly notable achievement was recorded by Stari Podrum Cuvee Terroir 2020, which won gold medals at all four international competitions it entered this year: Mundus Vini, the Decanter World Wine Awards, the Balkans International Wine Competition, and the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles. Such consistency confirms its exceptional quality and places it among the region’s most successful wine labels this year.
