Niksic (MINA-BUSINESS) – Niksic now has a new address of the digital future – the House of Digital Revolution – and a building that had long awaited a new life is now entering a new era at full speed.
A test environment presented last evening, which reaches record data transfer speeds of nearly ten Gbp, is the result of cooperation between One and the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre Tehnopolis.
“Researchers, entrepreneurs, and startup leaders exchanged ideas at the opening event, using technology was not just a tool, but as a driver of vision, a place where ideas take flight and innovation turns into concrete solutions,” One stated in a press release.
In this inspiring environment, the power of 5.5G (5G-Advanced) technology and its importance for Montenegro’s digital future were demonstrated.

Executive Director of One Montenegro Branko Mitrovic stated that the House of Digital Revolution has a great name, but an even greater mission – to put Niksic and Montenegro on the map of the digital future.
“We are proud that, together with Tehnopolis, we have helped establish the first institution in Montenegro to operate on a 5.5G network. This clearly demonstrates that Montenegro is not following digital trends, but leading them,” said Mitrovic.

During testing conducted at the opening, record data transfer speeds of 9.7 Gbps were recorded – the highest ever achieved in Montenegro.

Director of Tehnopolis Djordjije Malovic stated that the opening of the House of Digital Revolution marks the moment when Niksic gains the opportunity to become the center of a new digital era.
“This is not just a space, but a living laboratory of the future where young people, startups, and researchers will have the chance to test and develop ideas on the most advanced network. I believe that innovations changing Montenegro and the region will emerge from Niksic,” said Malovic.

For One, testing 5.5G technology marks an important step into the future.
“The One network has twice been recognized as the best in Montenegro by the independent international organization Umlaut. The stability we provide is the result of knowledge and major investments in the network, and now, with the record speeds achieved in Niksic, we once again confirm that we are ready for a new era of digital development,” added Mitrovic.
