Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro (PKCG), the council in charge of awarding the “Good from Montenegro” visual quality label has granted the company Crnagoracoop from Danilovgrad the right to use the label.
The collective “Good from Montenegro” quality label will now be carried by eight Crnagoracoop products: Krem Blok, Capri Krem Blok – No Sugar, Cica Glisa Cream – Milk Chocolate and Hazelnut Spread, Cica Glisa Cream – No Sugar, CG Ground Coffee, Montenegro Super Coffee, Crnagoracoop NB Extra Caffè, and CG Vacuum Coffee.
“The report of the Technical Committee for Other Food Products explains that Crnagoracoop has all documents issued by the competent Montenegrin authorities confirming its registration and compliance with the requirements for manufacturing activities. The company also applies the ISO 22000 and HACCP food safety standards in its operations and has won numerous international awards,” PKCG said in a press release.
The report further states that the quality of the nominated products was assessed and found to meet the required microbiological and physicochemical standards, as confirmed by laboratory analyses.
The “Good from Montenegro” project is one of the country’s most important initiatives for promoting domestic production, preserving Montenegro's economic identity, and strengthening consumer confidence in Montenegrin products.
The project is a result of the Montenegrin business community’s commitment to promoting high-quality domestic products, thereby helping to reduce the country's foreign trade deficit in numerous sectors, particularly food production, where Montenegro has abundant natural resources and a long-standing tradition.
