Ibrahimovic: OSCE Mission important partner in reform implementation

Podgorica, (MINA) – During the past 20 years, the OSCE Mission has been an extremely important partner in implementing reforms and strengthening democratic institutions, said Minister of Foreign Affairs Ervin Ibrahimovic.
Ibrahimovic met on Tuesday with OSCE Secretary General Feridun H. Sinirlioglu, who is on a working visit to Montenegro.
The interlocutors, as announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, expressed mutual satisfaction with the quality and intensity of cooperation between Montenegro and the OSCE.
The also exchanged views on current security and political challenges in Europe and the world, agreeing that the preservation of multilateralism is of key importance for the stability of the continent.
Ibrahimovic, as stated, reiterated that Montenegro would continue to provide full contribution to strengthening of the OSCE and its role in preserving peace, security and dialogue.
He pointed out that the OSCE Mission was an extremely important partner in the implementation of reforms and strengthening of democratic institutions in Montenegro over the past 20 years, stressing that the achieved results represent the best confirmation of the success of joint cooperation.
Sinirlioglu said that Montenegro represents a model of successful cooperation with the OSCE and its key partner.
“He expressed belief that the successful cooperation between Montenegro and the OSCE would continue in the coming period, through close coordination between Podgorica and Vienna”, the press release said.
