Abazovic re-elected URA president

Podgorica, (MINA) – President of the Civic Movement (GP) URA Dritan Abazovic was re-elected to that position, the Party Congress decided on Saturday evening in Lovcen.

During the URA Congress, which also celebrated the party’s 10th anniversary, Ana Novakovic Djurovic, Milena Vukovic and Blazo Radjenovic were elected vice-presidents.

Abazovic, as announced by URA, thanked those present for their support, stressing that this is an indication that URA has many friends.

Abazovic announced that the Congress is an opportunity to present the new URA’s program for the development of Montenegro called “Montenegro 365”.

“We present the vision of Montenegro 365. I invite all people of good will to support such an idea, to be part of a new vision. Now is the time to help Montenegro,” said Abazovic.

He stated that purging the state from corruption is only the first step towards strengthening its economy.

“Our vision is unequivocal and clear, and it will unfold in several main directions, the first one being fight for a safe and just Montenegro. The second is the fight for an ecological Montenegro, the third, for a Montenegro of social justice, fourth, for Montenegro as a tourist destination all year round, and the fifth, for a Montenegro that improves the wealth of the individual”, said Abazovic.

He added that he believes and is sure that the citizens will change the current government in the next elections.

“I am sure that the new government of Montenegro will be strong, that URA’s idea will take a dominant position, and that URA will play one of the most important roles in it”, said Abazovic.
