Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – During her visit to Block 4 of the company Novi Boksiti, President of the Niksic City Council Milica Lalatovic Zizic stated that this local administration will always support projects that create jobs and development opportunities for the city.

According to her, local authorities will consistently back all initiatives that help more citizens realize their professional ambitions in their hometown.

The City Council stated in a press release that Lalatovic Zizic applauded the company’s strong commitment to aligning its operations with the principles of sustainable development and the Environmental Protection Law.

Co-owner of Novi Boksiti Ivan Ivanovic said the company currently employs 60 people, with plans to expand the workforce to 150 by next year.

He also announced plans to provide scholarships for geology, mining, and mechanical engineering students.

On behalf of the Ministry of Energy and Mining, Acting Director General of the Directorate for Geology and Mining, Marko Vucinic, expressed satisfaction with the renewed momentum in the economic development of Niksic.
