Sattler to visit Pljevlja Thermal Power Plant tomorrow

Pljevlja, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The European Union (EU) Ambassador to Montenegro, Johann Sattler, will visit the Pljevlja Thermal Power Plant (TPP) tomorrow.

 

Elektroprivreda (EPCG) announced that, following a tour of the facility, Sattler will meet with EPCG Executive Director Zdravko Dragas and members of the company’s and the power plant’s executive management. 

 

The meeting will also be attended by a delegation from the Ministry of Energy and Mining, headed by Minister Admir Sahmanovic.

 

“The purpose of the visit is to become familiar with the operational plan and the technological and environmental modernization of the Pljevlja Thermal Power Plant, one of the most important investment projects in Montenegro’s energy sector. The project is being implemented to improve environmental protection and ensure compliance with European environmental standards, while preserving the stability of the country’s electricity system,” EPCG stated in a press release.
