Podgorica, (MINA) - The Europe Now Movement (PES) is completely freed from any pressure stemming from the European Alliance’s initiative to shorten the mandate of the Capital City Assembly, as well as the coordinated action between the opposition and the Democratic People’s Party (DNP).

PES stated that the new majority in Podgorica Assembly has sufficient councilors to support all initiatives, including the proposal to shorten the mandate of the Capital City Assembly.

“PES is completely freed from any pressure stemming from the European Alliance’s initiative, as well as the coordinated action between the opposition and the DNP”, the party said in the press release.

It is added that it will be interesting to see how the new majority would function and who would emerge as its leader.

“Citizens of Podgorica already have the opportunity to see what the alternative to Mayor Sasa Mujovic looks like and how it works”, PES said.
