NATO supports reforms in ANB

 

Podgorica, (MINA) – NATO supports the Montenegrin Agency for National Security (ANB) in implementing the intelligence and security sector reform in line with the Alliance’s standards, it was announced after the meeting between the Agency’s director, Ivica Janovic, and a NATO delegation.

 

According to the press release from the ANB, Janovic hosted on Tuesday a NATO delegation led by Assistant Secretary General for Intelligence and Security Affairs Scott Bray.

 

“The meeting, which took place immediately after the recently held NATO Summit in Ankara, was an opportunity to review the further strategic direction and priorities of the NATO intelligence and security community”, the press release said.

 

It is stated that Bray welcomed Montenegro’s commitment contributing to collective security through its membership in the Alliance.

 

“He expressed his support for the Agency and its leadership in implementating intelligence and security reform in accordance with NATO standards”, the press release added.
