Podgorica, (MINA) – Montenegro’s experience shows that a clear commitment to European path and consistent implementation of reforms can lead to concrete progress on the EU accession path, said Minister of European Affairs Maida Gorcevic.

Gorcvic wrote on the X social network that she discussed Montenegro and Albania’s EU path with chair of Committee on Human Rights and Public Information of Albanian Parliament Jorida Tabaku, as well as reform processes and opportunities to further strengthen bilateral cooperation.

She said that she congratulated Albania on the recent progress in the EU accession process.

“Montenegro’s experience shows that a clear commitment to the European path and the consistent implementation of reforms can lead to tangible progress and serve as an encouragement to other candidate countries”, Gorcevic said.
