Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Montenegrin President Jakov Milatovic said that he expects the Government to return to dialogue with the municipal leadership of Zeta in order to find sustainable solutions in the interest of all citizens, across all areas of economic and social development.
“I am confident that Zeta will continue to develop as a modern and responsible municipality, with the active participation of its citizens, making a strong contribution to the overall development of Montenegro,” Milatovic said in his congratulatory message on the occasion of Municipality Day.
In the message, he said that Zeta, with its rich history, strong identity, and valuable natural resources, has the potential to be a powerful driver of Montenegro’s progress.
“The goal of development for Zeta, as well as for Montenegro as a whole, must be an economy that provides stability for families and genuinely improves the quality of citizens’ everyday lives. That is why it is particularly important for Zeta that the Government significantly increase subsidies for agricultural producers and invest in capital infrastructure,” Milatovic wrote.
He added that local communities play a key role on Montenegro’s path toward full membership in the European Union, as it is at that level that the rule of law, efficient governance, environmental protection, and trust in institutions are built.
