Cooperation opportunities explored in tourism and air transport
- Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – During an official visit to Israel, Minister of Tourism Simonida Kordic held a series of meetings with representatives of leading Israeli companies in the fields of tourism, air transport and investment, with the aim of strengthening cooperation and improving Montenegro’s position in that market.
Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – During an official visit to Israel, Minister of Tourism Simonida Kordic held a series of meetings with representatives of leading Israeli companies in the fields of tourism, air transport and investment, with the aim of strengthening cooperation and improving Montenegro’s position in that market.
At a meeting with the owner and CEO of AFI and BIG, Eitan Bar Zev, plans were presented for the further expansion of these companies’ operations in Montenegro, following the acquisition of a shopping mall in Podgorica.
The discussions included the potential construction of new shopping malls in other cities, recognizing the growing potential of Montenegro’s tourism market.
“Meetings with representatives of airlines Sun d’Or (El Al Group) and Israir focused on the importance of direct air connectivity between Montenegro and Israel, particularly in the context of extending the tourist season,” the Ministry stated in a press release.
It was noted that both airlines already operate direct flights to Montenegro and that there is interest in further strengthening cooperation and considering the introduction of year-round routes.
