Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – It was concluded at a meeting between business representatives and inspection authorities that relevant institutions should step up efforts to combat illegal business activities and individuals operating in the grey economy, which remains widespread in Montenegro.
The meeting was organized by the Employers’ Federation of Montenegro (UPCG), in cooperation with the Coordination Body for the Harmonization and Monitoring of Inspection Oversight, at the Science and Technology Park on Monday.
Attended by around 50 UPCG members, the meeting was held ahead of intensified inspections during the summer tourist season.
The purpose of the meeting was to exchange information on the implementation of regulations, strengthen preventive action and improve coordination of field activities.
The meeting was opened by UPCG Secretary General Suzana Radulovic and the Chair of the Coordination Body for the Harmonization and Monitoring of Inspection Oversight, Minister without Portfolio Milutin Butorovic.
