Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The Science and Technology Park of Montenegro (STP) and the Montenegrin-Australian Chamber of Commerce have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, establishing a framework for long-term institutional cooperation.

According to a press release, it is aimed at strengthening the innovation ecosystem, international business connections, and promoting Montenegro’s investment potential.

“By signing the Memorandum, the two institutions have laid the foundations for a partnership that will contribute to connecting Montenegro’s and Australia’s business and innovation ecosystems, creating new opportunities for cooperation among companies, start-ups, research institutions, investors, and other relevant stakeholders,” the press release reads. 

The cooperation will focus on the exchange of knowledge and experience, the development of international partnerships, the promotion of innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as identifying opportunities for joint initiatives that contribute to sustainable economic development and the internationalization of the Montenegrin economy. 

“Particular focus will be placed to the fields of information technology, finance, education, energy, mining, sports, and tourism, sectors in which Australia is one of the global leaders and where there are significant opportunities for developing partnerships with Montenegrin institutions and businesses,” STP said.
