Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – It was concluded at an event organized by the Employers’ Federation (UPCG) that the lack of qualified workforce, the mismatch between education and the labour market, and workforce outflow are some of the main barriers businesses face.
UPCG held two consultations at the Kings Park Hotel in Podgorica.
The third consultation, on amendments to the Law on Business Organizations, was organized in cooperation with the Tax Administration (PU), as a result of strong interest from the business sector in resolving uncertainties related to the law, which is still in parliamentary procedure.
“Participants had the opportunity to ask questions, and once again the answers were provided by Head of the Central Registry of Business Entities Sanja Bojanic,” UPCG stated in a press release.
A consultation on improving general education in Montenegro was organized in cooperation with the ministries of labour, employment and social dialogue, and education, science and innovation, as well as the Center for Vocational Education.
The consultation was opened by UPCG President Slobodan Mikavica, who emphasized the importance of raising dual education to a higher level so that the overall education system in the country can respond to labour market needs.
