The Guardian journalist visits Montenegro

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Last week, the National Tourism Organization (NTO) hosted a journalist from the British magazine The Guardian, Hannah Newton, who had the opportunity to explore the country’s diverse tourism products in Montenegro.

The NTO said in a press release that, as a result of the visit, an article about Montenegro as an attractive winter destination will be published between February 10 and 14, with special emphasis on outdoor and seasonal activities.

“It is expected that this article will further contribute to the country’s visibility, considering that it is one of the most influential British magazines, whose online edition records over 86 million visits per month,” the statement said.

During her stay, Newton had the opportunity to visit Zabljak, enjoy the panoramic tour of the Durmitor Ring, rural households, and tours of Vrazje Lake and Black Lake.

In addition to the north of the country, Newton visited Kotor and Our Lady of the Rocks, enjoyed the traditional winter carnival, and also toured Cetinje, Podgorica, and the Sipcanik Wine Cellar.

Support in organizing the study visit of the British journalist was provided by the local tourism organizations of Kotor, Zabljak, and Cetinje, as well as Hyatt Regency Kotor Bay Resort, Plantaze 13. Jul, and Casa di Pino Zabljak.
