Students gain opportunity for practical experience

Students gain opportunity for practical experience

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – In partnership with One, the University of Montenegro (UCG) has launched the Business Skills Academy, offering top students the chance to apply classroom knowledge in a real professional environment.

The Business Skills Academy was officially presented at the Technical Faculties building, with a memorandum of cooperation signed by UCG Rector Vladimir Bozovic and Executive Director of One Branko Mitrovic.

Bozovic stated that the Academy marks a significant step in collaboration with the business sector, giving the best students an opportunity to apply their academic knowledge in practical settings.

“Programmes like this demonstrate the University’s commitment to creating a space where students can grow, progress, and prepare for their future careers,” Bozovic said.

Mitrovic noted that the One Academy aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice.

“We launched this Academy because we know that university provides knowledge and foundations, but the first job often looks very different. We want students to see that difference, connect theory with practice, and gain the chance to work alongside professionals who tackle these challenges on daily basis,” said Mitrovic.

Call for applications for One Academy will be open until 26 September. Interested students can apply by emailing their grade average and motivational letter to [email protected].
