Spajic: A step closer to a modern and European railway

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to Prime Minister Milojko Spajic, the signing of a €30 million contract between Montenegro Railways Transport (ZPCG) and Swiss company Stadler for the procurement of three new trains brings Montenegro one step closer to a modern, European-style railway system.
“This investment, implemented with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), will deliver trains that meet 21st-century standards, faster, safer, more energy-efficient, and environmentally friendly. A step closer to a modern and European railway,” Spajic posted on his X account.
ZPCG and the Swiss company Stadler signed a €30 million contract for the purchase of three new, modern FLIRT electric trains.
