Sahmanovic: Montenegro open to strategic partnerships in energy sector

Abu Dhabi, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Montenegro is open to strategic partnerships that encourage the development of new technologies in the energy sector, said Minister of Energy and Mining Admir Sahmanovic at ADIPEC 2025, the world’s largest global energy forum, which opened today in Abu Dhabi.

 

At the invitation of the UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, Suhail Mohamed Faraj Al Mazrouei, Sahmanovic attended the opening of the forum, which brings together global leaders, policymakers, industry representatives and innovators from 172 countries.

 

According to a press release from the Ministry of Energy and Mining, Sahmanovic also took part in a high-level roundtable titled “Strengthening Energy Security and Resilience through Diversification”, which brought together ministers from different countries to discuss energy diversification, system resilience, and international cooperation. 

 

He presented Montenegro’s priorities in the fields of supply security, digitalization, and sustainable development, highlighting the importance of regional and global connectivity in strengthening energy stability.

 

“Montenegro is open to strategic partnerships that promote the development of new technologies in the energy sector” Sahmanovic stated.

 

He added that artificial intelligence and data centers are becoming pillars of modern energy infrastructure, enabling smarter management, higher efficiency and system security.

 

He concluded that the future of energy lies in the connection between data, innovation, and people.
