Partnership leads to more effective standards and preparation for Montreal

Senior representatives of the aviation authorities from EU candidate countries in the region met today in Podgorica to discuss numerous common issues in civil aviation and to establish closer regional partnerships.
The meeting was hosted by the Montenegrin Civil Aviation Agency (CAA) under the framework of a Memorandum of Understanding on mutual cooperation.
Participants discussed coordination of activities in preparation for the upcoming Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), which will be held in Montreal from 23 September to 3 October and will gather together representatives from countries around the world.
The meeting highlighted the importance of continuing training and professional development, as well as mutual support among experts to facilitate faster exchange of knowledge and experience.
