New Google Street View imagery now available on Google maps in Montenegro

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The National Tourism Organization (NTO) announced that Google Street View has refreshed its virtual imagery of Montenegro for the first time in nearly a decade, with more than 7,000 kilometres of roads and streets across the country now available on Google Maps.

“From the UNESCO-listed walls of Kotor to the bridges of modern Podgorica, Montenegro can now be experienced in an entirely new way. Google has unveiled updated Street View imagery, providing people around the world with the latest high-resolution panoramic views of the country through Google Maps,” NTO said in a press release.

The update enables tourists, businesses and residents to explore Montenegro using the latest Street View imagery available on Google Maps.

“This is the first major Street View update in the region in nearly ten years, covering more than 7,000 kilometres of roads and streets across Montenegro. During the past two years, Google’s Street View vehicles captured new panoramic imagery in 30 towns and other places, including Podgorica, Kotor, Budva, Herceg Novi, Cetinje, Niksic, Bar, Tivat, Ulcinj and Zabljak,” NTO said.

The new Street View collection showcases Montenegro’s unique blend of rich history and modern development. Users can now explore in detail the UNESCO-listed fortified Old Town of Kotor and the Bay of Kotor, one of the Mediterranean’s most distinctive natural and cultural landscapes.
