Podgorica, (MINA) - Montenegro must never again experience political and social unrest, economic humiliation of its citizens and mafia occupation of systems and institutions, said Deputy Prime Minister and leader of the Democrats, Aleksa Becic.

He assessed that since August 30, 2020, there were mistakes that needed to be corrected, but that a lot has been done.

Becic said that it was an honor to lead the winning electoral list and the “Peace is our nation” campaign on the historic August 30, 2020.

As he said, five years later the picture is clear.

“The greatest freedom in history. The dismantling of all forms of crime. The state’s war against tobacco, drug, environmental and all other mafia structures”, said Becic.

According to him, the state no longer serves, but directly attacks the mafia.

Becic added that vetting is underway and that it is necessary to carry it out to the end, covering all individuals in all institutions and branches of government.
