Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to preliminary statistics released by Monstat, there were 41,320 tourist arrivals in the collective accommodation in Montenegro and 85,100 overnight stays in February.

“Of the total number of nights spent in the collective accommodation, foreign tourists accounted for 71.7 percent and domestic ones for 28.3 percent,” Monstat stated in a press release. 

In February, 57.6 percent of the total number of nights was spent in the coastal region, 16.6 percent in the mountain regions, 16.3 percent in the Capital City, and 9.4 percent in other tourist destinations in Montenegro. 

Collective accommodation does not include the individual, so-called private accommodation in houses, rooms and apartments.

It includes hotels, resorts, inns, motels, holiday centres, hostels, and camps.
