Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to preliminary statistics released by Monstat, there were 107,940 tourist arrivals in the collective accommodation in Montenegro and 278,900 overnight stays in April.

“Of the total number of nights spent in the collective accommodation, foreign tourists accounted for 86.3 percent and domestic ones for 13.7 percent,” Monstat stated in a press release. 

In April, 86.6 percent of the total number of nights was spent in the coastal region, 8.5 percent in the Capital City, 3.3 percent in other tourist destinations in Montenegro, and 1.6 percent in the mountain regions.  

Collective accommodation does not include the individual, so-called private accommodation in houses, rooms and apartments.

It includes hotels, resorts, inns, motels, holiday centres, hostels, and camps.
