Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – It was concluded at a training event held at the Chamber of Commerce (PKCG) that the IPARD programme offers a major opportunity for food producers and processors to gain access to the European Union (EU) market.
In cooperation with Adria Savjetovanje, the Chamber organized a training “What EU Funds Bring to Companies – IPARD and development opportunities for the food industry through preparation for EU membership”.
According to the Chamber, the training was designed for food producers and processors, agricultural holdings, investors, and all stakeholders interested in using IPARD funds and preparing to enter the EU single market.
Director of the PKCG Projects Department Tanja Radusinovic said that the training was only the first in a series of activities focused on this area and its European prospects.
She highlighted the importance of understanding the opportunities offered by EU funds and recalled the successful FinansirajMe.EU – Synergy for EU Funding conference held the previous day, which aimed to strengthen the capacity of Montenegro’s economy to utilize European funds, investment instruments, and development programmes.
