Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to the Chamber of Commerce (PKCG), the Podgorica-based company Maslinjaci Baletic from Podgorica has been granted the right to use the “Good from Montenegro” label for its product, Oro extra virgin olive oil.

The Council for the awarding of the visual trademark for Montenegrin products, Good from Montenegro, adopted its decision in accordance with the Rulebook on the Collective Trademark.

“The right to use the collective trademark for a product or service may be granted to companies and entrepreneurs who, in addition to meeting the mandatory general requirements set out in the Rulebook on awarding the trademark, also meet special requirements related to key elements of socially responsible business standards,” the PKCG stated in a press release.

PKCG launched the “Good from Montenegro” visual labelling project for Montenegrin products in September 2008.

The main objective of registering the collective trademark is to ensure recognizability, quality, and the successful placement of Montenegrin products on both domestic and international markets.
