Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The training completed by notaries and staff of the Central Register of Business and Other Legal Entities (CRPS) lays a strong foundation for the full implementation of electronic registration, improving legal certainty, accelerating administrative procedures, and strengthening business confidence in institutions.
As part of a broader process of modernization and digitalization of public administration, and through cooperation between the ministries of finance, public administration, and justice, as well as the Tax Administration and the Notary Chamber, training for the digitalization of documents for the registration of companies and other entities with the CRPS was successfully organized.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the training was intended for notaries and CRPS staff, who are key actors in the electronic registration process.
“This step marks the direct implementation of amendments to the Law on Business Organizations, which enabled full electronic registration of business entities. Although documentation can initially be prepared in paper form, mandatory digitalization guarantees speed, security, and efficiency of the process,” the Ministry stated in a press release.
The aim of the training was to equip participants for the transition to a digital registration model, including the digitalization of paper documents, verification and processing of digitized documentation within the CRPS, as well as the application of instructions from the Ministry of Public Administration for the digitalization procedure.
