Employment Office and Youth Activism Network sign a MoU

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The Employment Office and the Network for Youth Activism have signed a memorandum of understanding establishing a partnership framework to strengthen youth employment and professional development in Montenegro.

 

The memorandum was signed by Gordana Vukcevic, Deputy Director in charge of the Department for Employment Preparation and Mediation at the Employment Office, and David Vukicevic, President of the Network for Youth Activism.

 

“The memorandum marks an important step toward improving support for young people, particularly those in NEET status, young people without work experience, persons with disabilities, and other vulnerable groups,” the Employment Office said in a press release.

 

The partners will join forces to work on developing young people’s entrepreneurial and professional competencies, as well as creating additional support services aimed at facilitating their integration into the labour market.

 

The cooperation will include the organization of seasonal employment fairs, educational programmes, workshops, info sessions and conferences, the implementation of entrepreneurship development training, career guidance and counselling, as well as the exchange of relevant data and analyses on labour market needs.
